Today’s a good day to pick up an iPad Pro if the price has previously scared you away, as Amazon is currently selling the previous generation of Apple’s beloved 10.5-inch tablet for up to $200 off. Also, we’re seeing a rare deal on the Magic Trackpad 2. It’s the lowest price we’ve seen the device listed for on Amazon to date.
But first, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The best deal here is easily for the gold 512GB model with Wi-Fi for $799, which is a full $200 down from the normal price of $1,000. Hope you like gold, though. If you don’t, you can find some slightly less stellar discounts on the other models as well:
- 2017 10.5-inch iPad Pro (silver) for $850
- 2017 10.5-inch iPad Pro (rose gold) for $899
- 2017 10.5-inch iPad Pro (space gray) for $899
Other models are also on sale, such as the 256GB 10.5-inch model with Wi-Fi for $649.99, down from the usual price of $799. Act quickly, though, as these appear to be selling quickly.
But I’m most impressed that Amazon is offering such a steep deal on the silver Magic Trackpad 2. Head over to the online retailer today, and you can buy it for just $99, down $30 from the normal retail price of $129. Again, that’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen it listed for on Amazon, and it certainly beats every other major outlet I checked out.
The Magic Trackpad 2 is an interesting device. I thought I would hate it because I’m not really a fan of using trackpads on MacBooks, but I find that using a Magic Trackpad feels far more comfortable when it’s off to the right of the keyboard. For general work, I sometimes think I prefer it over a regular mouse. I certainly love the way Apple so deeply integrated trackpad gestures into macOS. Once you master them, you may even come to think that a mouse is holding you back.
Still, it’s not for everyone, and the normal retail price is too steep for me to tell you to “try it out and see if you like it.” With a price that’s just below $100, though, it should be a little easier to take that plunge.
