This year’s Amazon Prime Day is the first we’ve had since Amazon and Apple finally decided to start playing nicely together late last year, which means you’ll now actually find some discounted Apple products in the mix. And true to our usual Macworld Prime Day tradition, we’ve sprinkled some deals from Amazon’s competing sites into our roundup.
Right now the standout Apple-centric Prime Day deals include a 30 percent discount on the 128GB 9.7-inch iPad and anywhere from 30 to 38 percent off the last generation of 10.5-inch iPad Pros. These are the best prices we’ve seen. Amazon is also offering some specific models of the Apple Watch Series 3 and Series 4 for some of the best prices we’ve seen to date.
You’ll want to hop on all of the above deals soon, as these discounts will only last until Tuesday at midnight Pacific (or while supplies last).

There isn’t really anything fancy about the 9.7-inch iPad, but it’s more than capable of handling most tasks you’ll need an iPad for. Right now, Amazon is selling the 128GB space gray model for $299, which is 30 percent down from the normal price of $429 (and the lowest price we’ve seen it listed for).

IDG2017 iPad Pro
If you’re more of a fan of the old Touch ID iPad Pro models than the new Face ID ones, then you’re in luck. For Prime Day, Amazon is selling the 2017 10.5-inch iPad Pros with Wi-Fi and Cellular for anywhere from 30 to 38 percent off. The Prime Day deals only affect the 256GB and 512GB models, although currently the Rose Gold model is the only 512GB that still has the Prime Day pricing.

Amazon is selling Apple’s second-generation AirPods with the wireless charging case for $179 (down from $199), which is—checks notes—a mere dollar less than the lowest price we’ve seen it listed for. Still it is the lowest price. Read why we gave these AirPods a 4.5 out of 5 verdict in our full review.
The current-generation model without the wireless charging case is also on sale for $144.99, down from $159, but this isn’t the lowest price we’ve seen.

The new iPad mini hasn’t seen many discounts since it dropped earlier this year, but right now Amazon is selling it for the lowest price we’ve ever seen it listed for. And that means, well, that the 64GB model is selling for $384, down $15 from the normal price of $399. Woo. It may be worth it, though: To my surprise, it’s become my go-to iPad. Leif Johnson/IDG2018 iPad Pro
The latest iPad Pro marks the biggest design change to the iPad to date, and that includes everything from a blazing fast processor and wireless Apple Pencil charging to Face ID support. You can read more about it in our full review, although I’ll add that many of my concerns will be less of a problem once iPadOS drops this fall.
These are good prices, and some match the lowest prices we’ve seen in the past.

Apple just announced a refresh of the new MacBook Air, which means we’re starting to see some good deals on last year’s model. Today you can get a 128GB MacBook Air from Amazon for under $1,000 (down $200 from the normal price of $1,199). You can also save $200 on the 256GB model. B&H is also selling these units for matching prices.

We briefly saw this model being sold for lower prices back in May, and Amazon has been selling it for the prices below for around a month. Still, it’s good to know if you aren’t aware that Amazon is offering a discount. Be sure to check out our review in which we said this model “makes a compelling case as an affordable pro-level machine.”
