Apple’s new 16-inch MacBook Pro is currently selling for its best price to date at Amazon. In the case of the 512GB/16GB/2.3GHz i7 space gray model, that’ll let you walk away with one for $2,149, down $250 from the retail price of $2,399. You can also get the 1TB/16GB/2.3GHz i9 silver model for $2,499, down $300 from the normal price of $2,799.
That’s a lot of storage and power, but the real attraction here is probably the keyboard, which is a scissor-switch keyboard that takes the place of the much-maligned butterfly keyboards that have come with most MacBooks for years now. It’s not quite the same keyboard you would have found on the old MacBooks, but it comes reasonably close. (It’s basically what you’d find in a Magic Keyboard 2.)
The one catch is that the 512GB model isn’t currently in stock, but you can still order it if you don’t mind waiting. Amazon says it will have new units in stock by February 5. If you want one now, though, the 1TB model is currently available for two-day shipping.
