Apple’s AirPods Pro might be water-resistant and extremely durable, but that doesn’t mean you won’t accidentally step on one or toss it in the wash. And even if you’re just replacing one of the buds, it’ll set you back $89. Unless you have AppleCare+ that is. Normally two years of coverage will set you back $29, but today B&H Photo is selling a set of AirPods Pro with AppleCare+ for $239 , which is like getting two years of coverage for free. But act fast because it ends at midnight ET.
AppleCare+ is basically Apple’s insurance policy for its products, and if you ever need to use it it’ll pay for itself. For example, if you need to replace a damaged AirPods Pro bud, Apple charges $89, but with AppleCare+, it’ll only cost you $29. The same goes for the wireless charging case, and if your ear tips need replacing, Apple will give you a new one for free (the normal charge is $4).
