The iPhone SE is already one of the best smartphone values, but today Verizon customers can get it for way cheaper than its $399 asking price. the carrier is selling the iPhone SE for just $5 a month for 24 months (total cost: $120) and offering 50 percent off activation (total cost: $20) if you buy online or through the Verizon app. That’s a savings of $300 and the best price you’re going to find probably ever.
The iPhone SE may have an older design with a home button and giant bezels, but it’s still a fantastic phone, with a top-of-the-line A14 processor, an excellent camera, and great battery life. It’s ready to run iOS 14 in the fall (and the public beta right now), and will likely get updates through iOS 18 as well.
The $5/month deal is good for new and existing subscribers but requires a new line on one of Verizon’s Unlimited plans, and the savings will be spread over the 24 months. It’s not clear how long this deal will last so if you want one, go grab one.
