Built for iPad Pro, too!

This week’s roundup of accessories includes new devices designed to enhance the iPad Pro—and the Apple Pencil, the Pro’s partner in productivity.

Your new accessories don’t have to be expensive. The $10 iPad Pro Leather Case is the large version of one of the more inexpensive items in iOS-dom. In addition to its protective exterior, the case also converts into a stand that lets you swivel the viewscreen around 360 degrees, and it includes magnets for Smart Cover support.

The $80 Multi-Angle for iPad Pro is a “handcrafted book-bound cover” that features a loop for your new Apple Pencil, as well as Smart Cover magnets that trigger the iPad’s magnetic sleep/wake feature. It offers multi-angle viewing capabilities—thus the name—and comes in four different designs.

We’re not quite sure if this crowdfunded accessory is going anywhere, but The Pencil Case still caught our eye. It’s a stainless steel tube with a padded interior, built for carrying your new Apple Pencil around like the precious jewel that it is. A $25 pledge at Indiegogo will get you one of the first cases to be produced—assuming, of course, the makers meet their production goal.

The $150 Create is a backlit wireless case for the new iPad Pro. Instead of Bluetooth, though, Create uses the iPad Pro’s new “Smart Connector” to connect the keyboard and tablet, making it easy to just set your iPad into the typing position and go.

Also in crowdfunding stage, the $25 CoverBuddy is an ultra-thin polycarbonate cover for your new iPad, complete with an Apple Pencil case built into the exterior. “It’s strong enough to protect, yet thin enough to get unnoticed!” the makers say.

The $70 Messenger Universal stand and keyboard is built for the iPad Pro—it doesn’t use the Smart Connector, however, but relies on good old-fashioned Bluetooth. It comes in any color you want, as long as it’s black.

There are also accessories for other iOS devices available this week. The $120 CX is sort of a poor man’s GoPro camera—it features a super-wide view, full HD 1080-pixel video shot at 30 frames per second, and is easily mounted to capture the action in your life.

The $130 Valet Charge Dock provides charging for both your iPhone and Apple Watch: “The minimal design of the dock mirrors the look and feel of your devices, to provide an elegant dual-charging solution,” Belkin says. How cool is it? Well, the Valet was named a CES 2016 Best of Innovation Awards Honoree.

The $18 DuoMount is pretty simple: It lets you and a passenger both mount your smartphones in the center of a car’s dash, letting you both keep an eye on things while operating hands-free. The mount is designed to be used with most CD slots.
