New iPhone cases of the week
This week’s roundup of new iPhone cases brings us Griffin’s new Key Lime Pie design, which looks like... well, you can probably guess. Plus, a few new see-through picks, metallic finishes, and much more. Read on!
The Grip Candy Sheer (iPhone SE; $25 MSRP, $10 on Amazon) is a translucent shell case, available in a number of two-tone color combinations. This compact case has a good-sized cutout for the iPhone’s back-facing camera, and provides a snug fit. Plus, it’s made from a flexible material for superior shock absorption.
The case’s main frame is made with a sturdy polycarbonate material and sports a soft texture in the middle section for a comfortable grip. Lined with microfiber to keep your iPhone SE cushioned, the Savoy is available in black, navy blue, turquoise mint, or rose gold.
The Cloak (iPhone SE, 6/6s, and 6 Plus/6s Plus; $24.95 MSRP, $20 on Amazon) is another transparent case, paired with a colorful bumper and a gel exterior to fend off scratches and smudges. The case includes an aluminum frame to prevent your iPhone from bending, comes with a tempered glass screen protector for extra safety, and provides unfettered access to the iPhone’s ports and buttons. The Cloak is available in gold, pink, red, silver, or space gray.
Inspired by a summer picnic staple, the Key Lime (iPhone SE; $15) features a fabric citrus-shaped panel inlay framed by a durable polycarbonate shell. This one-piece case is easy to install thanks to its snap-on design and provides wide openings for your iPhone’s ports, camera, Lightning connector, and buttons.
The FlightFit Gaudi (iPhone SE; $15) combines a dual layered design with a unique glow-in-the-dark finish. The case sports a form-fitting layout that minimizes bulk and keeps your iPhone SE protected at all times without interfering with its functionality.
The Maze Hollow (iPhone 6/6s; price unavailable) is a protective shell with a trendy geometric pattern.
Made with durable, lightweight material, the case prevents damage from dings and dents and features a pocket-friendly design. The Maze Hollow is available in sorbet red, mint green, or sky blue.
The Flow (iPhone SE; $30 MSRP, $25 on Amazon) features a two-piece enclosure that the company claims is easy to install. This dual-layered case offers full access to the iPhone’s ports and buttons, and has a microfiber lining to protect against scratches. You have five color gradients to choose from: blue, purple, gray, red, or sunrise.
Available in five solid colors, the case includes a built-in rechargeable battery that powers the external light, and includes a button in the back to control its brightness. The Lite-Me also supports a number of light effects, like blinking and strobe lights, while keeping your iPhone protected from all sides.
The case includes a raised bezel to keep your screen safe when placed face-down on flat surfaces, sports matching press-through button covers, and its soft interior adds extra buffer for bumps and drops.
