New iPad cases of the week
This week’s roundup of new iPad cases features This Is Ground’s Mod Pro, an iPad travel bag that features an embedded Tile luggage tracker. Plus, folios, other functional organizers, and more. Read on!
Available in tan or black, the case sports a micro-suction system to securely keep your iPad in place, as well as an air bladder in the back for extra cushioning against bumps or drops. It supports multiple viewing and typing angles when used as a stand, and is compatible with the magnetic sleep/wake function for all models except the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
The Field Bag View (9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air/Air 2; $79.95 MSRP, on sale for $49.95) is a cross-body shoulder bag made from a sturdy and lightweight combination of polyester and nylon.
The Field Bag View has a dedicated front enclosure just for your iPad, and offers a spacious zippered main compartment for the rest of your gear. For documents and smaller accessories, the bag also features an additional slip pocket on the inside.
As the name suggests, the 3 Degree Pillow Sleeve (all iPad models except 12.9-inch iPad Pro; $40 MSRP) wraps your iPad inside a generously-padded sleeve... that actually looks like a little pillow.
The case features an interior nylon shell to prevent tears and rips from repeated use, and a sleek exterior treated with a moisture-resistant finish. It comes in purple, olive, or blue.
The Companion (9.7-inch iPad Pro; $13 MSRP, $14.95 on Amazon) is a resilient hard-shell back cover, featuring customized cutouts for better ventilation. This lightweight case includes press-through button overlays to keep out dirt and other contaminants, features an embedded Apple Pencil holder on its side, and is fully compatible with Apple’s Smart Keyboard.
The Sleeve (12.9-inch iPad Pro; $215 MSRP) is a simple and practical leather enclosure for everyday use. It sports a hand-sewn trim that complements the rest of its design, and rolled edges for a streamlined look. It’s available in tan, black, or bark.
The Flipper (9.7-inch iPad Pro; $35 MSRP) is a simple folio that offers all-around protection in a slim package. This case is compatible with the iPad Pro’s magnetic sleep/wake feature, doubles as a stand in landscape orientation for typing or viewing, and comes in black or red.
The case sports a versatile folio design with a swivel mount that supports both landscape and portrait orientations, includes a magnetic strap to secure its cover, and comes with four corner tension clips for a precise fit.
