The week's best accessories

This week we include the best new cases in our roundup. See new offerings from Twelve South, elago, and more. Read on!

  • elago W3 Stand [White] - [Vintage Apple...

Apple nerds, this accessory is made for you. The W3 Stand ($20 MSRP; on sale for $14.83 through elago or $16 on Amazon) is an Apple Watch stand that, when your watch is in place, looks like an old-school Mac monitor from the 1980s. It’s made from scratch-free silicone to protect against damage to your watch.

ExoLens showed off a new case for the iPhone 7 at CES this year—one that allows users to attach high-quality Zeiss lenses to the case so that users can create pro-level photos. The new case reportedly ships in two months; no word on the pricing.

The Boostsound BTS-09 ($80 MSRP, same price on Amazon) is a Bluetooth-enabled wireless speaker that lets you get rich sound via its dual passive radiators and 2*10W full range driver. It comes with a dimmable LED background light, as well as a 4,000-mAh battery that lets you play tunes for up to eight hours between charges.

The iStand7 ($64 pledge through Indiegogo) is a portable stand case with a wireless charger and 3000mAh backup battery power. It even comes with a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack adapter, if you miss having the old wired earbuds on your iPhone 7. It’s expected to ship in April.

The Doubledown ($50 MSRP) is a splash-proof portable wireless speaker—but the makers want you to buy more than one. “If you buy one, it’s awesome, but if you buy two, you can pair them for spectacular stereo sound,” they say. They come in blue, red, and black.

The Keplar Immersion VR headset ($25.49 MSRP, on sale for $19.49) is built for both iPhones and Android smartphones; it offers a 120-degree field of view and cinema-quality playback. Say the makers: “With headphones built into the headset that add an extra dimension, you'll be to truly immerse yourself in virtual reality.”

  • SereneLife Outdoor/Surround Bluetooth Portable...

The Boombox Radio System ($120 MSRP, $63.05 on Amazon) is a portable Bluetooth speaker with a rechargeable 1,800-mAh battery. It includes LED lights with five color-changing modes, a built-in FM radio, and big sound supported by pair each of two-inch drivers and four-inch subwoofers.

  • SereneLife Clip-on Wearable Camera 1080p Full HD with...

The Wifi Pocket Cam ($65 MSRP; $50 on Amazon) can operate independently—shooting still images or 1080-pixel HD video—or under the control of your iPhone. Features include a micro SD card slot, 18-inch image display, and anti-shake camera stabilization.

  • Spigen Compact AirPods Strap Never Lose Your AirPods...

Afraid of losing your new AirPods? The Spigen AirPods Strap ($10 MSRP, same price on Amazon) ties them down, almost like your old wired Apple earbuds, so that you’re in less danger of having to find replacements.

Twelve South

The new Relaxed Leather ($40 MSRP) line of iPhone cases is “crafted in rich tones of taupe, herb and marsala”—each made of genuine leather that evolves over time: “Constant use and handling continues to soften the leather and darken its original tone.” In other words: It gets cooler the more you use it.
