Apple Pencils—used, but like new!
We’re big fans of Apple’s refurbished products—it’s like buying new, only not quite. Now a new product joins their ranks. Read on!
The iLX-107 ($900 MSRP) is billed as the “first wireless Apple CarPlay receiver.” The system lets you access your iPhone’s Maps, Phone, Messages, and Music apps from a dash screen, all “without ever needing to connect a cable.”
Denon’s Wireless Sport Headphones ($149 MSRP, $150 on Amazon) “uses unique Earhook technology, developed with a leading hearing aid specialist, to keep the earpieces in place—even during heavy workouts or when running.” The headphones are made, makers say, for “comfort, durability and superb sound.”
More great iOS-compatible gear from IK Mulitimedia. The iRig Pro I/O ($150 MSRP, same price on Amazon) is a “pocket-sized” audio and MIDI interface that features 24-bit/96kHz recording sound—you can connect all your gear through it to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and record wherever it’s most convenient.
The iPad Pro gear case ($49 MSRP) isn’t an accessory for your iPad Pro, but for your iPad Pro’s accessories: It’s built to hold cables, a USB charger, an Apple Pencil, and more.
If you’re among the legions who think the little yellow Minions are hilarious, Casetify’s new line of “Despicable Me” cases ($40 to $52 MSRP) should be as appealing as a fresh, yellow buh-nuh-nuh. Squeee!
The InkCasei7 ($69 pledge on Kickstarter) adds a second e-ink screen to the back of your iPhone 7 Plus. The second screen “allows you to display photos, to-do lists, read eBooks, news articles and also assists you in taking selfies.” It features Bluetooth connectivity, drop-proof construction, and adds just 4.5mm to your phone’s thickness.
Urban Armor makes super-tough cases to ensure your tablets can take a beating. The latest offering? Its Metropolis cases for iPad Pro ($59.95 MSRP for the 10.5-inch model, $89.95 MSRP for the 12.9-inch tablet; same price on Amazon) include “onboard storage” for the Apple Pencil, as well as a smart cover that can be removed to use Apple’s Smart Keyboard instead.
Waterfield’s Dash Sleeve for iPad Pro ($89) is built with black ballistic nylon and impact-resistant compression foam to protect your tablet from drops and the elements. It also includes a special pocket for the Apple Pencil.
