All Day (free, iPhone) is a new wellness app from Adidas. It helps you build workout habits, and tracks metrics like calories burned, distances run, and steps walked. Also featured: Recipes, guided meditation, and sleep aids.
ChowNow (free, iPhone and iPad) is the latest competitor in the food-delivery ecosystem that includes apps like GrubHub and Seamless. It does the same thing as those offerings: Lists local restaurants and their menus, then ensures delivery of hot food to your door. It’s available in 1,500 cities.
Enlight Photofox (free with subscription pricing, iPhone and iPad) is a photo-editing app with a ton of nifty features, “from layers and blending modes, to special effects, brushes, fonts, tonal adjustments, film, black and white and duo presets.”
The recent flood of apps that teach you how to play music now includes Fender Play (subscription pricing, iPhone). The app offers guitar lessons at all skill levels and in a variety of genres, including rock, pop, country folk and blues.
Lake: De-Stress Therapy with Art Coloring Pages
You’ve heard of Zen apps. You’ve heard of coloring books. Now you can have both with Lake: De-Stress Therapy with Art Coloring Pages (subscription pricing, iPhone and iPad). This app was an Apple Design Award winner earlier this year; this week’s update includes performance enhancements, as well as the promise that “lettering artists” and “Foodoodles” will join the roster of features soon.
