The iPhone 4 is out, and so we pull together a panel of Macworld editors for our 200th podcast to discuss everything we know about Apple’s new phone.

I’m joined by editorial director Jason Snell, senior editors Dan Frakes and Christopher Breen, and senior associate editor Dan Moren, who all have iPhone 4s in hand and are ready to report on their findings thus far. We’re also treated to a surprise appearance from senior editor Jonathan Seff, who spends the podcast standing in line at an Apple Store waiting for his phone.

Our topics of discussion include the iPhone’s marquee features, reports of flaws involving the new design, and those long lines that have cropped up in front of Apple Stores all around the country.

Show notes

Christopher Breen is in the middle of testing out iMovie for iPhone, which just arrived on the App Store. Chris shared his thoughts on iPhone moviemaking back when Apple first unveiled the iPhone 4-only app earlier this month. We also discuss the iPhone’s new camera, the FaceTime video-calling feature, and the new Retina display.

Speaking of displays, we also touch on reports that some users are seeing yellow discoloration on their iPhone 4 screens. We also discuss another reported flaw that’s getting a lot of attention Thursday—claims that some users are reporting antenna reception issues with the iPhone 4.
