Our stroll down memory lane continues in the latest episode of the Macworld Podcast. We follow up on last week’s celebration of Apple’s 30th anniversary by examining some of the landmark products that have come out of Cupertino throughout the last three decades.

As part of our 30th anniversary coverage, Macworld editors picked Apple’s 30 most innovative products—our final list appears at, with six new selections added each day. We’ll reveal our top picks on Friday, April 7.

Senior Editor Christopher Breen participated in selecting the 30 most innovative products; he joins me for a discussion on some of his choices, including the original iPod, iTunes, MacWrite and MacPaint, and the Apple decal.

Show notes

I covered the Apple Newton before on the Macworld Podcast—Macworld Podcast #2 from July 2005, to be exact.

Chris and I talked about the Apple decals, or stickers. You can buy them relatively cheaply on sites such as eBay—this auction features a six-sticker set for $8, for example. Also, Wired News reporter Leander Kahney covered the devotion to the Apple decal in 2002.
