It’s not often you get two Macworld Podcasts in a single day. Then again, up until Wednesday morning, it wasn’t that often that you could boot up the Windows operating system on a Mac—with the help of software developed by Apple.

With Wednesday’s release of the Boot Camp public beta, Intel-based Mac owners can now boot into Microsoft Windows XP on their Apple-built hardware. The move comes just a few weeks after some enterprising hackers figured out a way to allow Windows XP to dual-boot on an Intel Mac. However, Apple one-upped the hackers, not only by simplifying the XP installation process, but also including many of the drivers that were missing from the hacked approach.

In this bonus podcast, I talk to Macworld Senior Editor Rob Griffiths about his experience of installing Boot Camp onto his Mac mini Core Duo.
