Bring the iPhone 6 screen down to size with Reachability
The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus come with a built-in feature that makes them easier to use: this is called Reachability. Double-tap the Home button to bring whatever apps or icons are on the screen down to the bottom half. (You don’t fully depress the Home Button – just tap it twice lightly with a finger or thumb.)
This feature is activated slightly differently on the X-series handsets: here’s How to use Reachability on the iPhone XS Max.
Make sure Reachability is set to On

If Reachability doesn’t seem to be working, you might have to access it in Settings. Tap on Settings > General > Accessibility and set Reachability to On.
Buy an iPhone 6 case

Make sure you buy an iPhone 6 (or 6 Plus) case. The shiny surface of the iPhone 6 is very slippery to the touch, which makes the phone too easy to drop and frustrating to use.
If you have small hands you’ll find the iPhone a lot easier to use once you’ve placed it inside a case. Just try and find one that doesn’t make the phone even bigger!

Get to grips with your iPhone using a Bunker Ring

If you’re still finding it hard to hold an iPhone 6 one-handed (even with a case on) then consider using a grip accessory. This innovative Bunker Ring attaches to the rear of your iPhone 6, or iPhone 6 Plus and slips through your finger when you’re holding the iPhone. The additional grip enables you to comfortably hold an iPhone 6 Plus (or even an iPad) for long periods of time.
Improve Reachability by Jailbreaking your iPhone

There are many apps on the market that improve Reachability and other accessibility features. Unfortunately Apple keeps a tight hold on the basic interface of the iPhone, so these only work using a “jailbroken” iPhone (where you replace Apple’s official iOS software with an unofficial alternative).
A good example is Color Reachability. This app enables you to adjust the colour of the screen behind the Reachability, making it easier to see. Search for ColourReachability on the Cydia store.

Make Reachability more useful with ReachWeather

If you find yourself using Reachability a lot, then you can make it more useful by using the ReachWeather app. This places the weather information from Notification Centre behind the Reachability screen. Search for ReachWeather on the Cydia store.
Use Reachability on older iPhones with ReachAll

If you have an older, smaller iPhone (an iPhone 5s or earlier) and want to use Reachability on it, then you’ll be pleased to hear that there is an app for jailbroken phones that fixes that.
Search for ReachAll from the Cydia app store. Once ReachAll is installed you will be able to use Reachability on an iPhone 5S or older iPhones.
