13in MacBook Pro 2020 now offers an improved keyboard and more storage, however, the 13in and 15in
MacBook Pro 2015 is still undoubtedly an excellent machine if you have one.

These cases from Speck for the MacBook Pro (with Retina Display) are great, as they protect your MacBook Pro while allowing for normal use of all its functions and ports, as well as being able to open and close it. It’s available in several colours.
The form fitting case snaps on snugly and fits flush, and also has non-slip rubber feet (just like the MacBook itself) so it wont go sliding around on a flat surface – perfect for long typing sessions. The BookBook series from Twelve South makes
cases for the iPhone and
iPad as well as the MacBook, so you can leather bind all your Apple gadgets should you wish. It makes the MacBook slightly bulky, but if you love the look then chances are you won’t mind.
There’s also the argument that if you’re carrying around what people think is an old dusty tome in public then you’re less vulnerable to theft, which is perhaps true. What’s harder to accept is the high price, but if you want to protect your laptop with a hint of nostalgia for non-digital times, this is a good bet.

Woolnut leather sleeve for MacBook Pro
Woolnut is a great little company from Sweden that makes top quality leather goods for several models of MacBook. This fine black number will fit the Retina MacBook Pro models of 2013-2015 (the first models without an optical drive).
The fit is snug as you’d hope for and will no doubt weather the years well – provided your MacBook lasts that long. The leather is a lovely grain and the stitch detailing is subtle. The felt lining inside rounds off a top product.

Targus makes some excellent bags at ridiculously good prices. You’ll find this bag, specifically for 15 inch laptops like the larger MacBook Pro.
It’s a very simple polyster number, with a zippered fold-out clamshell design that gives you room to carry a charger and other bits and pieces with ease.

Caseable makes slick, premium cases for all manner of laptops and the MacBook Pro is no exception. The company cleverly lets artists join its ranks, so while the cases all come in similar designs, the possibilities are endless when it comes to what you want to put on yours.
