The best part of the special edition red iPhone 7 series? A small amount from each sale will be donated to (Product) RED, which helps to combat HIV and AIDs in Africa.
It’s not a new relationship, as Apple has released a number of (Product) RED editions in the past, from iPods to Mac Pros, but it’s the first time that the iPhone has had the treatment.

In true Apple fashion, every detail of the special edition red iPhone 7 series was considered. The company even made the silver Apple logo on the rear match the silver ring around the Home button on the front of the device, and even the rim of the Lightning port.

Photos simply don’t do the (Product) RED iPhone any justice: it looks much more impressive in person than it does in pictures, and our snaps look pretty good! The matte finish of the iPhone shimmers in the light, making the metallic red body really stand out from the crowd.

The only downside? The special edition red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are only available in 128 or 256GB capacities, and those looking for a 32GB variant are out of luck.

There are a lot of people that think it’d look better with a black display, reminiscent of the limited-edition U2 iPod, but we think it looks pretty damn impressive as it is.
