The iPad Pro (2018) is available in two sizes: a mid-size 11in model and the larger 12.9in one. This is the first and so far only 11in tablet Apple’s released; we did get a 12.9in Pro the year before, but differences in the height and width mean that you can’t just reuse a case from the previous model.
Tomtoc 11in Tablet Sleeve

The Tomtoc sleeve is a good option for those looking for a carry case. It fits 11in tablets which means you can use it for other similar-sized devices you have as well.
The interior is lined with fleece to protect your 11in iPad Pro from scratches. There are also two pockets at the front where you can keep accessories and cables. We especially like this colourful, graphic option (pictured) for £15.99/ $19.99, but there are solid-colour options as well.
MoKo iPad Pro (2018) 11in Case

Here’s a substantially cheaper alternative to the Otterbox. It’s a good option if you want more variety in colours too.
The pictured case fits the 11in iPad Pro, but there’s also a version for the 12.9in model for £17.99/ $19.99.
The Moko case also doesn’t obstruct the Apple Pencil from magnetically attaching to your iPad Pro, so you don’t need to remove the case for charging or pairing. And like the Otterbox case, the front flap folds into a convenient stand.
Moshi Versa Origami Case for iPad Pro 12.9in

The Moshi VersaCover’s origami-inspired front cover folds into three viewing angles for the iPad Pro 12.9 to suit watching, reading or typing. It supports auto-wake and sleep and will also charge the Apple Pencil.
Supcase Unicorn Beetle 11in iPad Pro (2018) Case

Here’s our contender for best rugged iPad Pro case. The Unicorn Beetle Pro from Supcase is a style we’re familiar with, as we’ve seen it for phones and other devices before.
The Unicorn Beetle sandwiches your iPad Pro between two layers. The first is a PC hard shell with a shock-absorbent TPU lining, and the second is a raised-edge bumper frame with a built-in screen protector. This keeps the iPad Pro protected from all sides.
Keep in mind this case is for the 11in model, although it is available for the 12.9in model for £28.99/ $34.99.
It’s also worth noting that some models of this case do not support the Apple Pencil magnetic docking, so be sure to check compatibility before you buy.
Ztotop Leather Folio iPad Pro (2018) Case

This iPad Pro (2018) leather folio case is ideal for professionals and executives. Not only does the premium leather give it a classy finish, it’s also mindfully designed.
First off, its design accommodates the Apple Pencil, so you don’t need to remove the case for pairing. Second, the front flap has a nifty elastic strap underneath (elegantly stitched with leather) so you can strap the case on to your hand when you’re using your iPad.
The folio case also comes with a pocket (under the wavy edge) so you can stow away documents, cards and other possessions.
The pictured model is for the 12.9in model ( £23.99/ US$24.99). It’s currently not available in the States, but Amazon does offer international shipping.
Procase iPad Pro (2018) Sleeve

Here’s an elegant leather sleeve option from Procase. It’s ideal if you need to carry your iPad around in your bag and don’t want it to get scratched.
It’s available in four colours: red (pictured), mint-green, brown and black. Another benefit of a sleeve is that it should accommodate both iPad Pro sizes.
The Procase Sleeve has other nifty features too: the top flap closes magnetically, there’s a slot for business cards, and the back has an extra pocket to keep a notepad or papers.
Available on Amazon for £14.99/US$18.99.
Poetic TurtleSkin Rugged Case for 11in iPad Pro (2018)

Here’s another rugged case option for your new iPad Pro. At £12.95/US$16.95, it’s a cheaper alternative to the Supcase Unicorn Beetle, but that might be because it doesn’t have an integrated stand and screen protector.
That’s not a huge detractor if all you’re after is making your iPad Pro (2018) childproof. The TurtleSkin is made of a thick non-toxic silicone, which provides additional grip, and is splash proof.
It also has raised air vents inside the case to prevent the iPad Pro from overheating.
You can also find it for the 12.9in model for £14.95/US$16.95.
