Apple has slashed the prices of its titanium G4 PowerBooks for US education-customers.
The US Apple Store has reduced prices on the PowerBook G4/400 and PowerBook G4/500 from $2,443 and $3,289, to $2,067 and $2,819 respectively. Pricing for non-education customers remains the same.
It was reported last month that Apple had topped the US education market by out-performing rival Dell.
Apple recently acquired PowerSchool, which tracks and records pupils progress, for $62 million.
Apple UK was unavailable for comment on the US price reductions.
