Apple has revealed its plans for UK MacExpo, which runs from November 22 to 24 at London’s Business Design Centre in Islington.
This is Apple’s first outing at a UK Expo since January 1998. This year MacExpo has been extended to three full days. There will be over 100 exhibitors displaying Mac solutions alongside Apple, including Microsoft, Sony and Macromedia.
Apple’s stand (number 600) will host demonstrations of products, services and solutions – including iDVD 2, iMovie 2, Final Cut Pro 2 and DVD Studio Pro. Expo attendees will see the debut of Apple’s MP3 player – the iPod – on November 22. The iPod holds over 1,000 songs, has a 10-hour battery life and weighs just 6.5 ounces. It goes on sale in the UK for the first time at MacExpo 2001.
Applications for tickets can be made online.
