As we approach the expected launch of Apple’s rumoured iPad mini, new photographs of what is claimed to be a leaked model of the 7in tablet have emerged online.
The photos, published by Sonny Dickson on his Twitter, match with many of the previously leaked parts, and include a rear camera, lightning connector, and rear microphone.
Business Insider calls the photographs the ‘most convincing’ yet, and we would have to agree. However, none of the photographs show the front of the iPad mini, so we are led to believe that Dickson has only got his hands on the back plate of the device.
The latest iPad mini rumours suggest that Apple will issue invitations to its launch event this week, and the on sale date could be 2 November.
Recent leaks suggest that the iPad mini could have an anodized back plate, and could come in a Black & Slate model like the iPhone 5.
A graphic designer has created photorealistic renderings of the rumoured iPad mini, revealing what the device could look like if Apple makes it available in the colours of the new iPod touch models, which are expected to ship this week.
