Apple has updated its Mac mini, and the new model is due to begin shipping today. The new Mac mini is available to buy today, and is priced from £499.
The Mac mini with 2.5 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive costs £499, while a 2.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 model with 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive is priced at £679.
The Mac mini server model will also be available with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM, and two 1TB hard drives is avilable for £849.
The new Mac mini has support for up to 16GB of 1600 MHz memory, and has four USB 3.0 ports as well as Thunderbolt, HDMI, SDXC, Gigabi Ethernet and FireWire 800 ports.
