Apple discontinued the iPhone XS in September 2019, replacing it with newer handsets. The company no longer sells the XS; read our iPhone buying guide for advice on which of the current models is right for you.
However, you may still be able to find the iPhone XS on sale at other vendors and networks. We’re not sure we’d recommend it at this point, bearing in mind its age (it was launched back in September 2018) and weaker specs than the current models – read our iPhone XS review for the full picture. But if you find a really low price, it could still make sense.
Our automated widgets below pull in the lowest SIM-free and contract prices from a huge range of retailers, so you can rest assured that you’re seeing the best deals – and if there are very few entries in the widgets, that means very few companies have stock to sell. If you’re looking for bargains on the XS’s (also discontinued) bigger sibling, check out our iPhone XS Max deals roundup.
iPhone XS price
When it came out the iPhone XS cost £999/$999 for the 64GB model, £1,149/$1,149 for the 256GB model and £1,349/$1,349 for 512GB (all SIM-free). But that was in 2018, so you should be looking for a substantial saving on those prices.
If your vendor of choice doesn’t knock several hundred off that to acknowledge the passage of time, get a newer model instead.
iPhone XS contract deals
Looking for a good-value contract deal? Our comparison tool, embedded below, automatically finds the lowest prices in your region. If there’s not much to see that doesn’t mean the widget has gone wrong, it means the networks are running out of stock and may not be inclined to get more.
iPhone XS SIM-free deals
If you want to buy the iPhone XS outright, there are still places where you can do that, across both the UK and US. Don’t forget to make sure you’ve got a SIM-only contract to go with it.
Here are the best prices offered by the major retailers right now. Again, be aware that stock is drying up as companies move on to newer models – hence the lower number of offers in these widgets compared to when the device was new.
The following retailers are also worth investigating for SIM-free deals on the XS.
