These money-saving deals from John Lewis and Currys PC World are amongst the best you’ll find this Black Friday, offering a £114 discount on Apple’s latest MacBook Air.
Both retailers are offering the same model of the MacBook Air for only £985, but it’s worth noting that John Lewis offers a two-year guarantee on the product – something not matched by Currys PC World or even Apple itself.
The MacBook Air in question is the £1,099 entry-level model, but despite it being the cheapest of the current range, there’s still a lot of power underneath the hood. It sports a 1.6Hz 8th-gen Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost kicking the clock speed up to an impressive 3.6GHz alongside 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 128GB of SSD storage and Intel UHD Graphics 617.
It also sports a high-res Retina Display with True Tone, giving colours a more natural feel, a Touch ID sensor for login and payment authentication and a Force Touch trackpad that perfectly simulates the click of a mechanical trackpad without any moving parts. You find all that tech packed into a body that’s both lightweight and slim, making it the perfect portable companion for students and workers alike.
