Analyst companies IDC and Gartner have published new statistics regarding worldwide computer sales, and there are some surprisingly big discrepancies in the figures.
During the second quarter of 2020, HP and Lenovo recorded the highest number of computer unit sales, followed by Dell, Apple, Acer and Asus.

During Q2 a total of 72.3 million computers were sold according to IDC (or 64.8 million according to Gartner). That’s an increase of 11.2% (or 2.8%) compared with the corresponding period in 2019.
