A new model of the Apple TV media player is in development, according to Bloomberg, but it probably won’t be launched until after the turn of the year.
In addition to upgraded components such as a more powerful processor, a new function will make it possible to find the remote control if you’ve lost it. In other words, a variant of “Find my iPhone”, but for indoor use.
The current model of Apple TV was launched in September 2017, so there is undeniably a chance of an upgrade relatively soon. It could also help to boost interest in the Apple TV Plus and Apple Arcade services.
