The Apple Watch Series 6 might have launched back in September 2020, but it remains an excellent smartwatch. The combination of high-end hardware and intuitive software means it holds up very well, especially with watchOS updates expected for several more years.
If you’re looking for a premium wearable that works brilliantly with other Apple devices, the Watch Series 6 could be the device for you. Unless you value a slightly larger display, smaller bezels or faster charging, paying close to full price for the Series 7 might not make sense.
Deals are already available on the Series 7, but the bulk of the savings can be found on its predecessor. Apple might not be selling the Watch Series 6 anymore, but plenty of third-party retailers have slashed prices.

Best March 2022 Apple Watch Series 6 Deals
The best deal on the Watch Series 6 right now is £160 off the 44m cellular model with Navy Sport Band – it’s down to £349. However, some of the discounts we’ve seen previously on high-end models are no longer available. A similar discount is available on the cheapest 40mm model – it’s now £229 with a £90 discount.
You can save considerably more if you buy refurbished, however. MusicMagpie has up to £40 off wearables as a part of its Winter Sale. Where to get refurbished deals on Apple Watch 6
Another way to get an excellent deal on the Apple Watch (while being environmentally conscious!) is to buy refurbished. Refurbished products may show some signs of wear in some cases, but are thoroughly tested and repaired to work just like new. The quality of the repair will vary depending on the retailer, so makes sure that anything you buy is backed with a warranty.
Most refurbished resellers will offer a one-year warranty that offers technical support and repairs should you run into any problems.
The best place to buy a refurbished Apple Watch is directly from Apple’s Refurbished Store, where every product is Apple Certified refurbished. An Apple Certified refurbishment means it’s virtually indistinguishable from buying new – except the price is much lower.
Apple promises a one year warranty, free delivery and returns. Each refurbished Apple Watch undergoes full functional testing and a thorough clean and comes with the original OS or a more recent version as well as all the accessories and cables you’d need.
The only downside to the Apple Refurbished Store is you’re less likely to find the newest models, like the Series 6. Instead, you might want to go to other retailers like Music Magpie or buy Amazon Renewed, both of which also test and repair pre-owned devices thoroughly to ensure it works like new. What to expect from the Apple Watch Series 6
For starters, the Apple Watch includes a blood oxygen sensor in a bid to help battle Covid-19. The feature also helps manage asthma and heart complications. The oxygen sensor uses LED lights to measure the colour of your blood to understand whether your O2 levels are healthy.
