It seems that Apple has been in no particular rush to launch AirTags during the COVID-19 pandemic – launching a tracking device at a time when most of its customers are stuck at home doesn’t make a lot of sense. However, now it looks like the AirTags might finally be unveiled in November.
Leaker extraordinaire Jon Prosser is claiming that AirTags testing will finish on 6 November ready for the gadget tags to launch “within 30 days” of that date.
All final performance testing for AirTags (B389) will be 100% completed on November 6. After this testing, products typically ship within 30 days. Sure looks like we’re getting AirTags for sure at the November event.

“It really looks like” that AirTags will be launched at a November event, Prosser writes.
Prosser had previously suggested that the AirTags had been delayed until March 2021.
So, about AirTags. This one hurts my heart… I’m being told that Apple has pushed back the announcement and launch of AirTags to March of 2021. 😳 https://t.co/xtUvCAFmoE pic.twitter.com/DIUlcp01Xy
