Sure we’ve only just got our hands on the 2020 iPhone 12, but the rumours are already appearing about the iPhone 13, which won’t launch until autumn 2021.
The latest rumour is that the 2021 iPhone models will see a doubling of the maximum storage space from 512GB to 1TB.
The information comes from the well-known technology leaker Jon Prosser via his Twitter account.
hope y’all are ready for 1TB iphones
— Jon Prosser (@jon_prosser) October 28, 2020
The maximum storage has been 512GB since the iPhone XS and XS Max were launched three years ago, so it is undeniably time for an increase soon.
Admittedly, very few users would actually need so much storage space, but if you are shooting or filming in high resolution, more than 512GB could be required.
