According to a new report from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP), the four models of iPhone 12 accounted for 76 percent of Apple’s mobile sales during the fall, despite the delayed launch.
The “regular” 6.1-inch model is the most popular and accounted for about 27 percent of sales. Shortly after that come the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max with around 20 percent each, while the iPhone 12 mini with a screen of 5.4in accounted for only 6 percent of sales.
Prior to the launch, many experts considered that the iPhone 12 mini could be a popular model, as many users demanded a smaller mobile phone with modern components.
A possible explanation for the unexpectedly low interest in the iPhone 12 mini could be that potential customers are choosing the similarly small (but Home button equipped) iPhone SE, or that they are choosing the significantly cheaper iPhone XR or iPhone 11.

Apple is said to be considering discontinuing the iPhone 12 mini. However, despite the low interest in the iPhone 12 mini, according to leaker Jon Prosser,
Apple will launch a iPhone 13 mini in 2021.
