With each passing day, new information about Apple’s plans to enter the automotive industry is leaked.
According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple is considering turning to its loyal iPhone partner Foxconn to manufacture its vehicle, as traditional car manufacturers continue to appear uninterested in playing second fiddle in the project.
Another solution currently being discussed is for Apple to sign a co-operation agreement with Magna, a company that currently manufactures cars and components for General Motors, Ford, BMW and Tesla.
Magna is the most logical choice, said Eric Noble from the consulting company Carlab in a comment to Bloomberg.
The third option is for Apple to invest in its own car factories, but this looks less likely at this point.
We gather and analyse all the latest leaks and rumours in our Apple Car news hub.
