We’ll cut to the chase: Amazon now has an incredible £232 off the 64GB iPad Air (4th gen) with Wi-Fi and Cellular (4G) connectivity. This discount was £207 as of 2 June, but Amazon has now slashed another £25 off.
The discount drops the price to £476.08 from the original price of £709 – which is still Apple’s asking price. You can also find the Wi-Fi only model for £473.36, a £105.64 saving. With these discounts, the 4th gen iPad Air devices have never been cheaper.
Amazon’s iPad Air discounts coincide with the retailer’s announcement today that Prime Day will take place over 21 to 22 June. But should you wait until Prime Day or buy the iPad Air today?
While Amazon hasn’t confirmed whether the two-day marquee sale will include any Apple deals, it’s not off the table, given the frequency of deep Apple discounts we’ve seen recently (including this one). There are no guarantees the prices will reduce any further, however.
If you want the best price around for the iPad Air right now, this is it.
If you don’t fancy haggling with Amazon Customer Service if prices do go lower on Prime Day, we’d suggest buying it now but waiting until Prime Day to see if the prices do drop further.
With Prime Day less than 20 days away, your purchase should be covered by Amazon’s 30-day return policy just as long as the iPad remains unused and undamaged (i.e. just don’t touch it until Prime Day!).
If you find the price is lower, buy the iPad Air again at the lower price and have the original sent back for a refund.
Head on over to Amazon to save £232 off the 64GB iPad Air (4th gen) with Wi-Fi and Cellular (4G) or £105 on the Wi-Fi only model.
