Laptops Direct just slashed £50 off the Apple AirPods Max

Apple launched the AirPods Max last December at an eye-watering £549/US$549. Since the release, availability has been patchy while discounts have been pretty much inexistent. That’s now changed with Laptops Direct slashing prices to £499.97 – that’s a £49.03 saving and the biggest discount we’ve seen to date. What’s even better is that you can get that discount across every colour of the AirPods Max.

Given how rare discounts have been on these premium cans, we don’t expect stock to last for long.

Macworld Editor David Price said that the Max offers superb audio, a comfortable fit and an effective noise cancellation in his review. The biggest drawback was the price, though that’s slightly abated with Laptop Direct’s offer.
