In 2016, there were rumours that Apple was working on a new version of its Thunderbolt screen with a built-in graphics card. But such a device has not been released – so far.
The new screen (which 9to5Mac says is codenamed J327) could be a replacement for Apple’s
Pro Display XDR screen, which does not have an internal GPU. There is also information that Apple is working on another external monitor with a lower price than the Pro Display XDR.
