The first benchmarks of the new iPhone 13 have apparently been leaked on the Korean website Clién. According to the data, the new A15 bionic chip, which will be used in the iPhone 13, will leave the competition for dust.
The graphic performance was tested using the GFXBench Manhattan 3.1 benchmark, with performance is calculated on the basis of calculated frames per second. According to the leaker, the iPhone 13 offers an impressive 198 frames per second in the first run, but in the second run there were only 140-150 frames per second. The decrease in the second run indicates that the performance of the iPhone was reduced due to heat generation. It should be noted that the device used is a prototype, so a further improvement in performance and heat dissipation cannot be ruled out.
If this result is correct, the A15 Bionic beats even the Exynos 2200 – which is the new chip from Samsung that is expected to be released soon and likely to feature in the Galaxy S22 (more info). That chip relies on a GPU from AMD.
According to benchmark leaks for the Exynos 2200, this offers to 170 frames per second in the first run using the same benchmarks, but reduces to 127.5 frames per second by the third run.
Apple’s current chip, the A14 Bionic, offers 120 frames per second in the benchmark.

Luckily we won’t have a long wait before we can convince ourselves of the performance of the A15 Bionic. Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 13 on 14 September.
